PNW Boxer Club



The Pacific Northwest Boxer Club (PNBC), a member club of the American Boxer Club (ABC), is situated in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. Founded in the 1950s, current membership is 52. The members of the PNBC abide by the Code of Ethics and By-Laws of the ABC.

Specialty 2003 Member meetings are held monthly at a private residence. In addition to members, the general public is welcomed and encouraged to attend. Informational programs that relate to the Boxer and canines are presented as scheduling allows. The Club holds two Specialty /Sweepstakes shows yearly, usually slated for Winter and Summer. (Link to Premium List at page bottom) The PNBC actively participates in National Regional Specialties for the Boxer by co-hosting these yearly events when scheduled in its home region.



In addition to exhibition events, the club participates in the stimulation and extension of public interest in the Boxer. A “Know The Breed” booth at All-Breed Shows by the members permits an all day ‘hands on’ inquiry for interest in the Boxer as a potential family companion.

The Club actively supports its Boxer Rescue program since its beginning in 1980. Coordination with neighboring Boxer Clubs and other Rescue organizations has resulted in the successful re-homing of Boxers of all ages and backgrounds over the years.

The PNBC has a monthly Newsletter of coming events, past events, and generalized Club information available by either email or regular mail.

The PNBC strives to promote and encourage quality in the breeding of purebred Boxers. Members are urged to accept the Standard of the breed as approved by the AKC and to protect and advance the interests of the Boxer breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at all events.

PNBC membership is open to all persons who are in good standing with the AKC and ABC and who subscribe to the purposes of the club. While membership is unrestricted as to residence, the Club’s primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in the immediate region.
